Travelling and care for your teeth
Oral health care is the most difficult part for the people who are on the go. This includes having late lunches in the office or going for a meeting in mid afternoon time or at the dinner time, all has an impact on our teeth.
Only brushing is not sufficient. Throughout the dat our teeth faces a constant attack if we don’t give them time to recover. Our teeth are at the consistent risk of acid attack. The moment we eat or drink something or especially if we consume sugar our teeth automatically come under the acidic attacks. The acid produced by plaque bacteria, and the sugars in our food and drink, which slowly dissolves the enamel and dentine of the tooth leading to cavities forming.
Solution – Sugar-free gum
Sometimes it looks quite abnormal if someone chews the gum in office or while travelling in public transport. But few researches suggest that chewing gum helps produce more saliva which protects your teeth from acidic attacks. But chewing sugar-free gum for 20 minutes after eating or drinking increases the flow of saliva, and helps replace the minerals more quickly.
Sugar free gum should be added as an effective solution to protect your teeth from acidic attacks. We suggest, while brushing for two minutes twice a day is still the best way to keep teeth clean and healthy, chewing sugar-free gum during the day can be effective in neutralising harmful plaque acids and reducing the risk of decay.
